It is an easy 5-minute walk to the ski mountain, Crested Butte Mountain Resort, but if you don't want to carry your skis the short distance, the free bus shuttle goes through the complex parking lot every 15 minutes so no worries. Amenities at the Chateaux include a heated outdoor pool with an attached hot tub, his and her saunas, a covered patio, and a BBQ grill next to the pool - perfect for any outdoor pool. There is an adjoining clubhouse featuring a kitchen and baths, large screen TV, and lots of seating. Plus some exercise equipment area to boot (owners use only!). After an adventurous bike ride, there is a storage shed attached to the clubhouse to lock up your bike and a place to hose it down.

LOCATION
Mt. Crested Butte/Crested Butte is an easy 25-40 minute drive south to nearby Gunnison. In Gunnison, you'll find two chain grocery stores, a small hospital with ER, Walmart, many mom & pop retail shops and restaurants, Western Colorado University, and Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport. Crested Butte is 4.5 hours southwest of Denver.
