Property Description

Lost Creek Ranch sits on 75± acres down a quiet draw in the Wasatch Back of the Uinta Mountains. The custom luxury home with breathtaking views is nestled into the mountainside, providing total privacy. The property encompasses both sides of the canyon, offering a combination of wildlife, hunting, recreation, and bliss. This private oasis allows you to enjoy the ranch in your way while just minutes away from all that Park City has to offer. Lost Creek Ranch is very large, considering the proximity to town and other nearby properties.  Abundant wildlife resides on the property all four seasons, including early fall Mule Deer shedding their velvet and winter Elk herds and rutting Mule Deer. There's no telling what you may witness from one of the home's decks!

The home was recently completed in November of 2022, it offers 5,736 square feet of open concept living. When you walk in the door you are greeted by the large wooden beams that hold up the 19 foot vaulted ceilings with an impressive wood burning fireplace made of stone that extends to the ceiling. The massive kitchen island and windows that open up to the amazing views right off the deck create the experience of living in a place with the beautiful wilderness just outside your walls. Downstairs is the walkout basement, perfect for entertaining, with a bar area and recreation room. Your guests will love the on-suite full bath with a steam shower, which allows space and privacy during their stay. A can’t miss feature is the large gym that overlooks the pond and barn, which offers a great wildlife view as you workout.  Located over the 5-car garage are the two upstairs bedrooms and additional recreation room. This home was built with tremendous care and attention to detail, something you can see and feel as you enter the door.

Park City, Utah is a recreational hotspot in both summer and winter, and also offers big city amenities with mountain living.  There are 100’s of restaurants, bars and distilleries, and a vibrant night-life.  The skiing and snowboarding is abundant and diverse with Park City Resort and Deer Valley Resort being world-class destinations.  Summer hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, rodeos, and mountain biking give plenty to do during the warmer months.  There are several major hospitals and school districts to choose from, and the Salt Lake International Airport (45 minutes) and nearby private airport (23 minutes) offer various travel options.

MULE DEER (GMU 7)

Lost Creek Ranch has a year-round Mule Deer population. Because of the elevation and proximity to large mountain ranges, the deer move in and out of the property depending on the time of year. The property has a combination of trophy caliber bucks and lots of opportunity at younger bucks.  There are several very good scoring bucks that would be considered resident, and as the weather gets colder and the rutting increases more animals begin to migrate into the area and it’s hard to find a ridgeline without a nice buck! If you’re interested in archery hunting this ranch will provide opportunities and certainly test your skills using the sagebrush for cover while stalking.  Rifle and muzzleloader seasons are great, and you will enjoy a plethora of Mule Deer to decide from. A lot of the viewing can be done right from the front porch, and when you’re ready to go after one you’re hunting as soon as you step out the door!

Elk (General Unit)

  • There is a resident Elk herd that roams this area year-round. Their travel can take them in and out of the property for extended periods. Like the Mule Deer, the hunting gets better as it gets colder, and if early snow comes, your chances of taking a bull definitely increase. During archery season, it is hit or miss if the herd makes its way down to the ranch. Rifle and muzzleloader seasons provide more opportunities. As the winter kicks into full gear, the herd will frequent the ranch often, and your antlerless tags can be enjoyed from the comfort of your deck if you choose.
