This 316-acre ranch is completely surrounded by national forest and BLM offering easy access to thousands of acres of public land. Additionally, there's a 3 bedroom/1 bath (+ 2,200 sq ft) cabin to come back to after a long day in the field!
As mentioned before, there is excellent hunting opportunities for truly world-class mule deer in game management unit 66. The elk hunting is good as well offering realistic chances to harvest mature 6pt bulls scoring over 300 plus inches. Since the property is over 160 contiguous acres and is zoned agricultural, the property will qualify for the state's "Landowner Preference Program". According to the 2017 stats, you can draw any unit-wide elk tag you'd like annually. Depending on the season, mule deer are a little tougher to draw. However, what may take a non-resident 7 preference points to draw an archery tag will only take a landowner 1 year. Give us a call and we can walk you through the various scenarios.
