Kevan spent the first 30 years of his life focused on creating a career out of his love for hockey. As a young man, Kevan moved across the country to pursue his dream of playing in the NHL. After four years of playing college hockey, he was an undrafted free agent and signed with Boston on a professional tryout. He leaned heavily on his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his craft which ultimately resulted in signing an NHL contract and going on to enjoying a successful career. Kevan had a 10-year professional stint in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins organization.
Upon retiring from hockey in 2021, he began to pursue his other favorite passions: hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. That passion quickly morphed into helping others enjoy those same past times while owning, managing, and conserving the land. He is an avid big game hunter that includes guiding in the Western Mountain states, and is a co-owner of an outfit in Newfoundland, Canada specializing in hunting Caribou and Moose. His unique career path and travels across North America cast a large and diverse web of hunting experiences and a network of people who share the same passions. All of his combined experiences, along with his love for hunting, conservation, ranching, and land stewardship are noteworthy assets when evaluating hunting and recreational properties.
Kevan’s experience in the industry has evolved throughout his career, initially focusing on buying and selling a diverse portfolio of personal real estate. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont. After moving West, he now owns and manages a ranch in Southwest Montana. It is here that he focuses his energy on learning and growing in the industry to serve his clients and company best. Kevan takes the time to fully understand his client’s vision when buying or selling a property. He practices the same hard work, dedication, and commitment to his craft that led him to a successful hockey career and translates that to bringing his clients visions to fruition. He also loves to share his love of the outdoors with his clients and their families.
Throughout his careers in the NHL and the outdoor industry his philanthropic work, specifically with the military and veteran community, has been a foundational cornerstone to Kevan. He is a board member for the Warrior for Life Fund, he guides and supports members for Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, served on the board for the Seal Legacy Foundation, and is member of the Mule Deer Foundation.
Kevan currently resides in Montana with his beautiful wife, Haley and two kids, Remi and Wyatt.
