- Catch and Keep Area/Limits: From the lower boundary of the Wigwam Club to Scraggy View picnic ground, the limit is two trout, each 16 inches or longer.

ELK
Unit 501 is home to the Kenosha Pass Elk herd. With a healthy and stable population, the herd holds one of the higher bull to cow ratios in the state. The lack of Over-The-Counter licenses prevents high pressure and harvest numbers, allowing bulls to reach an older age class (with many reaching the 300” range, and some exceeding 330”).

The National Forest access road is conveniently located off County Road 126 (paved and maintained year round) one mile West of Deckers. A gate key is required to access the road, and is only provided to the two private property owners beyond the gate. There are two additional locked gates for added security. Access is available year-round, though a four-wheel drive vehicle may be needed at times during the winter.
