The mix of alfalfa and grass is perfect for attracting Big Game animals from neighboring properties. The combination of privacy, size, and grass makes this property a wildlife sanctuary of sorts. Private Land Only tags in GMU 301 for Antelope bucks are easy to obtain each year compared to the unit wide tags that take other hunters 6-8 preference points to draw. GMU 301 is an Over-The-Counter unit for Elk during the archery season as well as 2nd and 3rd rifle season. Obtaining a Mule Deer tag is relatively easy and normally only requires 0-2 preference points, non-residents included.
