This helps keep the property zoned agricultural, which is a requirement for applying in the Landowner Voucher program.

The surrounding Pike National Forest, and this property in particular, is home to just about every game animal you can think of, including; Trophy Elk, Mule Deer, Black Bear, Moose, Turkey, Bobcat, Grouse, and numerous other small game. With resident Elk, Deer, and Bear on the property year-around, you have just as good of chance of killing a big bull with your bow in September as you do with your rifle in November. Allen Creek is a year-round creek that serves as a water source for the wild game. The willows that line the banks of the creek are irresistible to the Shiras Moose that travel the creek, while the dark timber and Aspens are the perfect combination to hold Elk and Deer nearby.

Located outside the small mountain town of Lake George, you are in a great location to access many of Colorado's most famous recreational destinations, including; the South Platte River, Woodland Park, Elevenmile Reservor, the "Dream Stream", Cripple Creek, the Arkansas River, and Breckenridge Ski Area. In addition, Lake George is a short drive back down the hill to Colorado Springs, Denver, and the rest of the Front Range.
