Jason attributes his passion for outdoor adventure to the hunting and fishing trips his father made sure he was a part of from an early age. A rural upbringing, along with countless days in the Rockies of Colorado and southern Wyoming, instilled a lifelong calling to be in the wild as much as possible. After attending the University of Wyoming and Colorado State University, Jason started a construction company based along the Front Range of northern Colorado. The business thrived following the tenets of customer service, on-time performance, and superior quality. That success recently enabled Jason to realize a long set goal – to make a home in Steamboat Springs. Alongside his wife Karen, they now watch as that familiar thrill of the hunt and relationship with the land becomes ingrained in their own children.
